About this Homepage
The purpose of this homepage was to
- finally learn HTML and CSS
- create a fresh, good-looking but fast layout
- present myself
- give you some tips
- not to use dangerous and pointless things like Java, Java-Script, ActiveX and Flash
Therefore I have written it completely with Gvim and have not used any WYSIWYG-stuff. In order to check the layout I have used Firefox due to its rapidity. The graphics and screenshots have been made with the Gimp.
CSS Support
The layout was completely made with CSS, that all modern browsers support:
- Opera (Linux, Mac OS X & Windows)
- basing on Gecko
- basing on WebKit
- basing on KHTML
- Windows Internet Explorer (Windows)
Using this browsers, you do not see any layout at all and get only the standard-layout of your browser. Nevertheless, you will get the same information:
Special Thanks to
- Bob Robison und Johannes Dechant for their corrections
- Konstantin Kletschke providing webspace for the yearbook
- the experts in dciwam [de], dciwpm [de] and especially Michael Jendryschik for their hints concerning the technique
- Karsten Dambekalns for his uncalled support concerning the PGP/MIME-list
